This was a 1.6 million dollar project which called for the excavation and removal of over 80,000 cubic yards of general fill in addition to importing over 20,000 cubic yards of clay to be used for lining the bottom and the side slopes of the detention pond. The project was a very unique design of a channel that included installation of a concrete hard edge and retaining wall and included the installation of unique aerators to oxygenate the water in order to help promote fish habitat.
